OUR STORY
This is why we're getting married
It all started with a right swipe on Tinder.

As we all know, Tinder is an online dating app where you can search through literally thousands of singles in your area with just a screen swipe to the left (pass) or right (go) which would determine who "matched" with you. Both Wendy and Ryan had joined Tinder on the recommendation of friends, and to pass the time on what seemed like an entertaining "game".
After 3 horrendous dates that stemmed from this app, Wendy was done with it. DONE. Nothing good would come of it, she thought. So one day, she logged on and decided to pick a fight with these "matches".

"Get a new haircut"
"Baggy pants went out in the 90s"
"Not the right body for a shirtless pic, dude"

Then, she got to Ryan's profile. She couldn't make fun of his looks. There weren't any weird poses she could make fun of... oh wait, he's a Spurs fan? Here we go.

"Spurs shirt? You're in LA. Wrong team - Spurs Suck!"
​
A few moments later, she heard a ::ding:: from the app. Someone responded. It was Ryan.
​
"Spurs suck? I'm guessing you must be a Laker girl"
​
"For life! Anything wrong with that?"
​
"No. It just seemed obvious. But know that the Spurs are obviously better"
​
"Hold on... better? Count our trophies, dude"
​
This went on for a bit... they both loved sports and could go on and on...
After chatting on the app for a while, Ryan finally invited Wendy to a quick concert date at the (now destroyed) Hollywood House of Blues. This is where they found out they were also avid concert goers, having probably sat behind each other in various shows.
​
Ever since then, they've spent countless hours together at concerts, sporting events, and traveling. And they would like to continue to do so with each other for the rest of their lives.
​
That's why they're getting married, and would love to celebrate with YOU!

DIRECTIONS
From Los Angeles:

We highly recommend coming down I-15 S through Temecula and then taking CA-76 E
and CA-79 S to get to Julian.
Less winding roads for those who get car sick!

OR
​
A more coastal scenic way is to go down
I-405 S / I-5 S and then taking
CA-78 E through Escondido.
This route has many winding roads.
From San Diego Airport:
​
Take CA-94 E to I-8 E. Then go up CA-79 N to Julian's Main Street.

OR
​
Take CA-163 N to I-15 N. Take exit 17 from I-15 N to CA-78 E to Julian's Main Street.
Where to Stay
We suggest you stay the night and not attempt driving out of the dark mountains after a fun night celebrating.
